JAMMU, Nov 24: Umar Nissar has been made skipper of the under-16 team for Vijay Marchant Trophy by the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) in a meeting held at Srinagar today.
J&K will be playing the first match against Himachal Pradesh from November 26 at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here. Second match will also be played at Jammu from December Ist. The remaining two matches are scheduled to be played at Patiala in Punjab and Delhi from December six and December 16 respectively.
As per a handout issued by the JKCA this evening, Paras Sharma has been appointed vice-captain of the one match team.
The team: Umar Nissar (captain), Paras Sharma (vice-captain), Shahnawaz, Sidhant Mangotra, Syed Mujitaba Razivi, Sidharth Sharma, Waseem Raza, Jaswinder Singh, Javid Ahmed, Shubam Gupta, Sarvanjeet Singh, Soumay Jain, Behzad Aijaz, Mousem Saleem, Danish Mirza and Yashuvardhan Singh.
