| Gen Bikram takes over 15 Corps | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT UDHAMPUR, Nov 24: Lt Gen Bikram Singh today took over the charge of the prestigious Chinar Coprs replacing Mukesh Sabharwal who has been appointed as Adjutant General of the Army. Before the handing-taking over, both the General Officers laid floral wreaths at the Corps War Memorial and paid rich tributes to the brave martyrs of the corps. General Bikram Singh, alumni of National Defence Academy was commissioned into the SIKH LI Regiment on March 31, 1972 and had over five tenures in J&K including Command of a Battalion, Brigade as also a Division. In his distinguished career spanning of 36 years, he has had the experience of varied Command and Staff Appointments. |
