REASI, NOV 26: In order to take stock of election arrangements, the Observer for Gool-Arnas assembly constituency, Mr. Mehtab Singh Seharawat visited Gool yesterday.
The District Election Officer (DEO), Reasi, Mr. Sanjeev Verma, DEO, Ramban, Mr. A. D. Shanas, SSP, Ramban, Returning Officer of the Gool-Arnas assembly constituency, Mr. S. C. Sharma, besides officers of various departments also accompanied the Observer.
Addressing the meeting, the Observer took reviewed the poll arrangements and asked the officers to strictly adhere to the Model Code of Conduct. He said that any officer or official if found involved in political activities would be sternly dealt with under law.
The DEO, Reasi apprised the Observer about the number of voters and the polling stations being set in the constituency.
While interacting with the representatives of political parties, Mr. Seharawat asked them to strictly follow the Model Code of Conduct and there should be no defacement of public property. |
