DODA, NOV 26: So far 16 candidates have filed their nomination papers for two assembly constituencies of Doda district which will go to polls on December 17.
Of them, five candidates have so far filed their nomination papers for Bhadarwah assembly constituency. They include Sheikh Mujeeb Ali of PDP, Mr. Abdul Hafiz Wani of BSP, Mr. Daya Krishan Kotwal of BJP, Sheikh Mohammad Shafi of SP and Mr. Fazal Alam Wani, independent.
Similarly, 11 candidates have so far filed their nomination papers for Doda assembly constituency. They are Mr. Khalid Najib Suharwardy of NC, Mr. Ghulam Hasan Taq (covering candidate of NC), Mr. Chuni Lal Thakur, independent, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed of BSP, Mr. Attaullah Khan of PDP, Mr. Farooq Ahmed Dar of JKNPP, Mr. Ishfaq Ahmed Wani of BJP, Mr. Ghulam Qadir Wani of SP, Mr. Abdul Majid Wani of INC, Mr. Javeed Iqbal Malik (covering candidate of INC) and Mr. Vimal Singh Manhas of CPI. |
