| EVMs randomized in Kupwara | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Nov 26: The final randomization of electronic voting machines (EVMs) and polling staff to be deputed to various polling stations in Kupwara district was conducted in presence of the Observers, Mr. Sudhir Kumar and Mr. Anand Mohan Tiwari.
The randomization for the designated Presiding and Polling Officers and 10 per cent additional staff and EVMs for the five constituencies of the district having 480 polling stations was done today.
The designated polling staff was asked to contact respective Returning Officers for the final EVM training to be conducted on 28th November, 2008 at 10.30 a.m. However, the training for the staff to be despatched to Machil and Keran will be held on 27th November, 2008 by their respective Returning Officers. |
