| Urban Batwal community holds meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 26: Members of Urban Batwal Community have decided to vote in favour of those parties or candidates who can advocate their plea in the state assembly, and also seek special economic and employment package for them. President of the community, H.L Kaith who chaired the meeting said till date no political party have ever bothered to come to their rescue who always considered them as sub-human and also have no say in the Government. He said it was in 1944 that the central planning commission conducted the ethnographic study of Batwals, with an assurance that on the basis of report, community will be given package but added that after lapse of 14 years no package has been given. As such vote for that party which can be in a position to help Batwals. |
