JAMMU, Nov 26: While addressing a gathering at Nagrota where in he opened his election – office, Senior National Conference leader and Ex-Minister Ajatshatru Singh said that people of the state have suffered a lot during the previous Congress headed Government. As per a release Singh said that these parties are befooling people in the name of caste, creed and religion and people are now fed up of the baseless and hollow slogans of these parties who enjoyed power in the state for last six y ears but have done nothing to solve the basic plights of people. He also criticized the previous elected candidate from the constituency for his failure in solving the problems of the general public of the constituency and added that only National Conference is committed to equitable development, peace, progress and upliftment of the down trodden and well being of the people of the state and the priority sector of the NC is to address the issue of rising unemployment in the state, the release added. |
