| Shehnaz seeks votes for Dharampal | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Hiranagar, Nov 26: National Conference is the only premier political party, committed for equitable development and distribution of resources among all the three regions besides strengthening secularism, brotherhood and tranquility, said Shehnaz Ganai, National Conference women wing leader while addressing series of election meetings at Marheen and others areas of Hirangar constituency in support of party candidate Dharampal, here today. Shehnaz said National Conference under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah has a dream to transform the destiny of the people of the state, for which the party has conceived a "Vision document" which will do away with poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, backwardness, lack of infrastructure, unemployment, disease and other bottlenecks in the road to progress of the state. She said party, after coming to power, shall further ensure that the rights of the poor and downtrodden sections of the society are protected and will launch welfare schemes for the development and empowerment of Scheduled Caste and Backward classes. Urging the voters to vote for the party, she said "your valuable vote in favour of the party shall be the vote for the development and prosperity of the constituency. Dharampal party's candidate while addressing the meetings said if voted, he will work for the overall development of the constituency and for the welfare and wellbeing of the people who remained neglected during the six years of the coalition rule. |
