| BSP, JKNPP demands re-polling | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 26: The contesting candidates of 86-Mendhar assembly constituency belonging the BSP and JKNPP parties, Raja Shafiq Khan and Tariq Hussain have urged upon the election commission of India to held re-polling of polling stations at Hurooni and Kotan, which witnessed rigging and casting bogus votes in the recently held polling.
In a joint press conference held today they said that under the orders of SP, despite objection raised by BSF, shifted the polling station Hurmuta Gurasi and at Kottan. The polling staff was beaten up beside presiding officer was seriously injured. FIR has also been lodged. They said as such we demand re-polling at there polling both. |
