| IGNOU Exams beginning Dec 1 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 27: The Term end Examination for December, 2008 of Indira Gandhi National Open University is going to commence from December 1, 2008 and will conclude on December, 30, 2008.
The University has established 650 examination centres, which include 36 overseas centres and 15 centres in Jails for jail inmates. Examination Intimation Slips (Hall Tickets) have been issued to 2, 73, 890 eligible students who had applied for appearing in the Term End Examination. The detailed hall ticket status is also available on IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in.
The students may also download the Hall Tickets from the University website and appear in the examination.
The Incharge Examination centres have been instructed to allow students to appear in examination, even if they do no possess the examination intimation slips (Hall Tickets), but their names exist in the list of examinee for the centre.
Students are advised to be in possession of the Identity card issued by the University during the Examination and they should not carry mobile phone with them inside the Examination Hall.
Separate Hall tickets shall be issued to the students of BCA and MCA for Term End practical. Students are advised to contact the respective Regional Centres in the last week of December for their practical examinations.
