| Social worker Nizamudin’s passes away | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 27: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee condoled the death of Nizam-ud-Din, uncle of Ch. Zaffarulla, General Secretary PCC who expired yesterday due to heart attack.
As per a release, in a condolence meeting held here at PCC HQ Jammu deep shock and grief was expressed over the sad demise of Ch. Nizam-ud-Din cousin of PCC General Secretary Ch. Zaffarulla. He was a renowned social worker and Vice President All India Gujjar Sudhar Sabha. He was honoured with Gold Medal in 1994, for maintaining communal harmony in Poonch by the then Governor of the State General (Retd.) K.V Krishna Rao.
Congress leaders conveyed their heartfelt sympathies to Ch. Zaffarulla and other members of the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul in heaven, the released added. |
