Investiture Ceremony at Pinegrove School

NEW DELHI, Apr 9: The empty hallways and classrooms of Pinegrove School Subathu, Solan, H.P. have come back to life almost after two years and are swaying and singing to the rhythm of children's fun, frolic and laughter. Academic session too at Pinegrove School, Solan is in full swing as Covid 19 seems to have lost much of its potency after a successful vaccination drive across all age groups against the variant.
The school continuously endeavors towards providing a balanced curriculum which is an amalgamation of value system, life-skills and manners. Established in 1991 as a co-educational, purely residential school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi, up to Senior Secondary Level, Pinegrove's began its journey with a handful of dreams and aspirations and in a short span of three decades it has truly transformed itself into a Cradle of Excellence and Leadership by aspiring to inspire its students to scale new heights and reach the stars, through toil and determination. Education is not only about learning the facts and principles but acquiring knowledge that goes beyond the realms of books.
The recently concluded investiture ceremony at Pinegrove School, Solan, H.P. for the newly appointed Student Council member acknowledges the confidence that the School consigns in the newly invested Office Bearers. This momentous day of Pinegrove School, Subathu dawned to bestow responsibilities on the deserving young talents of the School to lead from the front with commitment, confidence and competence.
The ceremony was held with great enthusiasm and a lot of zeal and zest in the Multi-Purpose Hall. The baton of school responsibility was given in the hands of new Turks as the old student council members smilingly welcomed their successors. Pranav Sharma and Sharanya Thakur were appointed the Head Boy and Head Girl respectively along with the appointments of students Prefects for Chinar, Deodar, Oak and Teak House. With the aim of inculcating leadership qualities in more students Student Coordinators for various activities were also appointed for the first time. The Head Boy of last year administered the oath of office to the Student Council where they promised to uphold the values and traditions of the school, pledging to carry out their duties with integrity and righteousness in the presence of the Executive Director Capt. AJ Singh, Director Administrator Mrs. Samiksha Singh, Head Teacher Mr D.K. Verma, Staff and students.
The Executive Director Capt. AJ Singh while addressing the students, congratulated and encouraged the members of the Student Council to embrace their responsibilities with utmost compassion and empathy towards everyone.
