Poonch, Apr 12: Shambles condition of Poonch to Degwar Maldyalan road irks locals, especially transporters, drivers and especially patients and pregnant ladies as there is no up gradation of this road since long. According to the sources, the worst condition of this road irks masses and it invites accidents. Abid Hussain, a local speaking with correspondent has said that the road which connect border villages with Poonch headquarter is in shambles since long and concern authorities has not taking any concern till now. Another local Riaz Ahmed in this regard has said that he has purchased new vehicle last year which has been reappeared four times in one year due to this worst road. He said, after it's earth work no one has upgrade this road and in rainy season it invites many accidents.
They have appealed to Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to intervene into the matter and direct concern authorities to upgrade this road for blacktopping. |
