| Poll staff imparted training in Reasi | | Media center established | | EARLY TIMES REPORT REASI, NOV 27: As many as 600 Presiding and Polling Officers of the three Assembly constituencies of Reasi district were imparted training in handling of the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) at Government Higher Secondary School, here today. The training was imparted in the presence of the Observer, Mr. Raj Kamal Chaudhuri and the District Election Officer (DEO), Mr. Sanjeev Verma. The Returning Officer of Reasi Assembly constituency, Mr. M. H. Bhatti was also present on the occasion. Meanwhile, the DEO asked the polling staff to reach their respective polling stations well before the scheduled date of polling and ensure free, fair and transparent elections. The three Assembly constituencies of Gulabgarh, Reasi and Gool-Arnas in Reasi district will go to polls on December 7 during the fourth phase of elections. Meanwhile, in order to facilitate smooth coverage of elections in Reasi district, the District Election Officer, Mr. Sanjeev Verma, has established an Election Media Centre in the office of District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Reasi, situated on the Reasi-Jyotipuram road.
