| SSF to contest elections | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, Nov 27: Ready to contest the polls, Save Srinagar Front (SSF) is all set to field its candidates for four assembly constituencies in Srinagar city and has released its manifesto on Thursday. According to PBI, SSF, which claims to represent the underrepresented dwellers of Srinagar, has finally decided to contest elections to press for its demand of removal of discrimination against the Srinagar city. While announcing the decision of contesting the elections in a press conference held at his residence at Zakura, SSF president Nazimudin said, "SSF will contest election from Hazratbal, Khanyar, Zadibal and Amira Kadal assembly constituencies. We have been voicing the concerns of Srinagar dwellers that have been ignored by the successive regimes. Now we have decided to contest elections and later ensure removal of discrimination against Srinagar." |
