| Tarigami injured in car-truck collusion | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, Nov 27: State Secretary of CPI (M) Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami was injured, along with three of his security guards in a road accident in south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Thursday. Reports said, a truck (PB06-254) hit the Ambassador car (JK01K-0432) in which Targami was travelling, near Jablipora Awantipora on Srinagar-Jammu highway Thursday morning. Targami, and his three security guards were injured in the accident and were removed to Shri Kashmir Institute of Medical Science Soura, Srinagar. According to the hospital sources, Targami sustained injuries in his hand. "Test for fracture and CT scan report suggests nothing serious," officials in the premier medical institute said. Security guards identified as Rajesh Kumar, head constable (belt No. 206192), Sajjad Ahmad (315) and driver constable Javed Ahmad (203) were also admitted in the hospital for specialized treatment, the officials added. . Targami who is contesting from Kulgam constituency for the third time, was on his way to Banihal for election campaigning when the mishap occurred, the sources added. |
