| Virender seeks votes on statehood demand | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, NOV 28: Prof. Virender Gupta, President JSM (P) and candidate from Jammu West constituency today toured Shiv Nagar, Dogra Mohalla and old Rehari areas and apprised people of the policies and programmes of his party.
Interacting with the people Prof. Gupta stressed on the demand of statehood for the Jammu region saying that this was the only viable alternative for the people of Jammu region to reap the fruits of progress.
Capt. Anil Gour (Retd.), Vice President and candidate for Gandhi Nagar constituency also held door-to-door campaigning in Sanjay Nagar and Shastri Nagar areas of his constituency. He received overwhelming response from the people. He assured that he shall fight for the right and development of the people of his constituency.
Swarn Sharma, President Women’s Wing and candidate for Jammu East along with her supporters took out a rally from Panjtirthi to Ranbireshwar Temple today to muster support of the voters. |
