| Ganga says BJP poised for historic victory | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, NOV 28: BJP State Vice President and candidate from Vijaypur assembly constituency on Thursday maintained that BJP will make the history in state assembly election 2008. In a press statement here today, Ganga said that “for BJP this assembly election is very important for setting up nationalist government in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and in this context determined bid was being made by BJP this time to form a government having a national vision”. “From central leadership to state BJP all are working in a single unit and now the time has come that the demonstration of nationalists against the wrongs of the Congress-PDP and National Conference from last 62 years should be converted into empowerment of nationalism so as to bring to an end to the voice of separatism, fundamentalism, discrimination and injustices in the state”, said BJP leader. Referring to the discrimination with Jammu and Ladakh regions, he maintained that “successive state government in the state has ignored the Jammu region in all the spheres whether it was National Conference, Congress or PDP all failed to keep the interest of Jammu and Ladakh regions resulted into lack of development, backwardness and voices of discontent”. Lashing out at Congress, Ganga said that Congress has exploited the people of Jammu of its false promises and hoax slogans. He emphasized that the misdeeds of the Congress, National Conference and other Kashmir-centric parties should be exposed. He also appealed to the electorates to ensure that nationalist voters are not divided as tricks are being played by certain government agencies. Saying that BJP is committed for the development, he said people now have realized that only BJP can bring overall prosperity and development in their life and they now want to assert their right by electing the representative who can address their day to day grievances which have increased manifold due to the mis-governance of the previously elected representative for the constituency.’ |
