| Congress poised to form Govt: Mangat | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 29: Congress veteran and former deputy Chief Minister Pandit Mangat Ram Sharma is making every possible effort to woo voters in his constituency. In his election meetings, Sharma is urging voters to give him another opportunity to serve them better. During our rule we have initiated several developmental projects and are determined to provide better infrastructure facilities to people of Jammu region, Sharma said assuring people to have faith in the leadership of the Congress party. He urged grass root workers to launch door to door campaign in his constituency in order to reach out to the voters and seek votes in support of Congress party. Addressing series of election rallies in Jammu West constituency, Sharma said that Congress party is in the commanding position and will form next government in the state. He urged the party activist to carry forward the policies and programmes as also the achievements of the Congress led government to the people at the grass root level. He said what the others could not do in decades; the Congress did it in less than its three years’ rule. |
