| Jats demand OBC status | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 30: The Jat Kalyan Sabha (JKS) have decided to vote and support only that party which will plead their case in the assembly with regard to granting of OBC status to all Jats of the J&K State.
Addressing the meeting of JKS members its vice president Ch. Prem Partap Singh warned the authorities of the dire-consequences for keeping criminal silence adopted by political parties and its leaders on granting OBC status to Jat community. He said states like Rajasthan, Delhi, UP, MP, Gujarat, and HP etc have already granted OBC status to Jat people. |
