Billawar Nov 30: Th. Kashmira Singh, ex-MLC and senior National Conference leader conducted extensive tour of Billawar constituency and addressed series of public meetings at village Garh, Batote, Shvain, Badholi, Lakhali, Gali, Parangoli and other Scheduled Caste Basties in support of Romy Khajuria party's candidate from Billawar.
Addressing these meetings Kashmira Singh assured the people, especially women folk and the youth, that the party is committed to empower women folk and the youth by providing jobs. He also assured that party after coming to power will enhance the old age pension besides raising the wages of daily rated workers.
Cautioning the people against the vicious campaign launched by the Congress, BJP, BSP and the PDP, the NC leader said that these political parties have nothing to show before the people as a result of which are raising hollow slogans and making false promises.
He said ‘I am confident that the people of the state will give them a befitting reply and weed them out of the political scene. |
