| JKNTUF endorses Dec 2 strike call of JCC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 30: Jammu and Kashmir National Trade Union Front (JKNTUF) has endorsed the strike call given by Joint Consultative Committee on December 2.
Mohammed Gafoor Dar, state president, JKNTUF and state convenor, EJAC today urged upon the State Government employees/public sector and temporary workers to observe complete ‘Kam Choor Hartal’ on December 2 to press the State Government for immediate solution of their genuine demands.
Addressing media persons jointly here today Gafoor Dar, Balbir Singh, Popinder Singh and Shehzadi Gill have impressed upon the workers to organize massive demonstration rallies at their respective districts and tehsil headquarters.
In Jammu city, the employees of various departments will assemble in front of the Udyog Bhavan near Panama Chowk on this day where a massive rally will be held and future course of action announced.
It may be recalled that JCC has given strike call in support of demands including immediate implementation of 6th Pay commission report at par with central Government employees including Public Sector of the State, enhancement of wages of daily rated workers, Aangwari workers and all temporary workers, removal of pay anomaly of Clerical cadre, enhancement of retirement age, amendment in SRO 64 to regularize the services of daily rated workers engaged after 1994. |
