| Behrote resident’s demands supply of drinking water, electricity | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

The senior leader, J&K Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) M.S.Tariq addressed a public meeting at Behrote Tehsil Thanna Mandi, District Rajouri here the other day.
In the meeting people of the area appraised that lot of problems is being faced by them due to scarcity of water and shortage of power supply. They also demanded that government should take steps for undertaking work of dug wells so as to mitigate the drinking water problem of the residents and also get the electric poles installed in the area where these are not installed so for, beside supply in the area. The people also demanded proper roa connectivity in the area as at present the inhabitants are using the only road being maintained by the Army, which is not good in a good condition.
Tariq after listening the demands put forth by the participants assured them that he will take up the matter with the concerned for specially adhering to the problems being faced by them. He appealed the people to get associate with PDP at the gross root level and strengthen the hands of Mufti Mohd. Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti, who are working tirelssy for the upliftment of poor people, the meeting was also attended by Shahbaz,Master Mir, Tariq Shawl, leaders of PDP, Anjum Mirza and Mohd. Younus Mugal, Youth leaders and Mirza Mohd. Alam-Sarpanch and Mohd. Azam Pathan-Councilor.
