Kupwara, Nov 30: It was an amazing sight to watch 100 years difference between the youngest and the oldest voters in Kupwara district on Sunday during the third phase of the polling. According to PBI, a 120-year old Peerzadi cast her vote at Darhama-60 in Kupwara constituency.
At Kupwara- 78, Nazira daughter of Ghulam Qadir cast her vote at the age of 12. It is astonishing that her name was in the voting list. Similarly, at Chogal polling booth, 10-year old Asrar Ahmad caste vote. |
