Bollywood singer Udit Narayan urges filmmakers to shoot films in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, May 11: Bollywood singer Udit Narayan on Wednesday urged Producers and Directors of the Industry to visit and shoot their films in the best atmosphere and Heaven on the earth place like Kashmir.
Udit Narayan and his son Aditya Narayan are shooting an Album songs being directed by Gaurav Chandrakant Bhat alongwith the actress Sonali Sachdeva and others in the sprawling locations of Kashmir valley.
"I got the opportunity to visit the Kashmir valley for the first time, what I had read, heard, was hearing…I found Kashmir much more than that after visiting here", The Bollywood Singer Udit Narayan said.
He said "right from the childhood I had read in the books that there is a heaven on earth that is Kashmir When I came here …absolutely it is heaven…."Udit Narayan said he had come here for the shooting of a Album song alongwith my son Aditya Narayan. Aditya has done shooting of several songs in Kashmir and he is enjoying staying in Kashmir and often saying that he has visited all around the world but praising….Kashmir is my favorite place that I like so much.
Udit Narayan said, "I have sung a song of bollywood super hit film "Mission Kashmir" …"Socho ki Jeeloun Ka Shahar Ho, Lehron pe Apna Ek ghar Ho" which was shot in the breathtaking locations of Kashmir valley.
"I am a diehard fan of great bollywood singer Mohammad Rafi Sahab right from my childhood and I often sung his one of the beautiful song on Kashmir ``Har Chehra Yahan Chand hai, To har Zara Sitara, Ye Wadi-e-Kashmir Hai Jannat Ka Nazara''. I feel that Kashmir is rarely heaven on earth, he added.
He said that "I was looking for the past several years that the big bollywood actors from Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan have visited Kashmir and shoot his number of films". Even our genius director Yash Chopra was often visiting Kashmir for his film shooting, he added.
He also recalled that late Raj Kapoor and his family had already made several films on the sprawling locations of Kashmir.
"I urge all Bollywood producers and directors to visit Kashmir and shoot their films in the natural beauty of Kashmir valley and that will also flourish the tourism industry in the valley", Udit Narayan said.
He said whatever people are missing in the world is all visible in Kashmir….its natural beauty, atmosphere, hospitality and nice people. "I urge bollywood to come to your own heaven and shoot films here".
"I will miss the Kashmir valley, its hospitality and the beautiful nature of people when I go back", he said .
He said that "I feel that I should not leave from here……..Kashmir's love remains with me. I will come again and again here in the near future" .
Udit Narayan emphasized the people of the nation, especially the Bollywood, to open their production houses and shoot films in the heavenly atmosphere here to expand their business.
He thanked for the hospitality provided by the authorities during the visit and hoped that in the near future more things would be done in the Kashmir valley.
Director Gaurav Chandrakant Bhat said he is shooting Album with Udit Narayan, Aditya Narayan, Sonali Sachdeva and others for the past six days in the Kashmir valley.
He said he had been recommended by the Raja Rani travelers to shoot in Kashmir.
Bhat said that "I was not sure about the things but when I came I saw the climate, the sky and the people I liked all of them". He said that "whatever the people talking about Kashmir outside, I feel that I am in my family after experiencing the hospitality of the people".
