JAMMU, May 11: First Sarpanch in Jammu and Kashmir UT, Rakesh Kumar Koul Panchayat Halqa Brah-A of Block Development Council Chittergul, District Anantnag received the Diploma Certificate for qualifying the Examination of Diploma in Panchayat Level Administration and Development programme in the Convocation function held at the Regional Centre Jammu of IGNOU. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) organized its 35th convocation which was organized on 26th April at IGNOU Maidan Garhi New Delhi Headquarters and simultaneously at thirty two Regional Centres across the country including Regional Centre at Jammu. Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India, was the Chief Guest and delivered convocation address and at the New Delhi Headquarters of IGNOU. Convocation function at Jammu was held at auditorium of Teacher Bhawan, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Prof. J.P. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu, was the chief guest on this occasion at Regional Centre Jammu and awarded Degree Certificates to the eligible learners. The Chairperson of Block Development Council, Chittergul, Choudhary Abdul Hamid Chahara has appreciated and congratulated Rakesh Kumar Koul for qualifying the examination of Diploma in Panchayat Level Administration and Development programme. |
