Extra Marks conducts campus placement drive at CUJ

JAMMU, May 11: Campus placement drive was held at SBS, Central University Jammu (CUJ) by the renowned company Extra Marks today.
Prof Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu has created an environment which is acting as a doorway to offer wide range of recruitment and selection services to students. The job profiles offered by the company incorporated BDA who will be front line sales executives that will help them pitch their product to the prospective clients. The students from Marketing and Supply Chain Management, Travel and Tourism Management and Human Resource Management participated in this drive.
The evaluation of the students started with the Group Discussion Round and Panel Discussion Round and the selected students faced interview in which the students appeared whole heartedly and enthusiastically.
Company Senior HR Manager, Amir Qurashi and Retail Business Head, Waaris Mir along with Sehar, Sales and Operations Head conducted the entire placement drive. The entire team from Extra Marks hailed the efforts put by the university in nurturing and exploring the young minds for a better tomorrow. About 50 students participated in this drive and 10 students were selected. Selected students were given on the spot offer letters. Dr. Gowhar Rasool, Dr. Asif Ali and Dr. Anjali Pathania coordinated the entire drive from Department of HRM & OB. Prof Jaya Bhasin, Dean SBS applauded the efforts of the faculty members along with Dr. Javeed Ali who facilitated the event.
