2-day SBI life recruitment drive concludes at GCW Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, May 12: The two-day SBI Life Recruitment drive organized by the Career Counselling, Guidance and Placement cell of Government College for Women, Udhampur concluded today.
The drive was held in collaboration with SBI Life Insurance and under the supervision of Prof. Jugal Kishore, Convener, Career Counselling, Guidance and Placement cell and overall guidance of Prof. Minu Mahajan, Principal of the College. On the second day of the recruitment drive, about 100 candidates appeared for the interview with a total tally aggregating to 197 numbers of candidates in the whole Recruitment Drive.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of the college applauded the efforts of the Career Counselling, Guidance and Placement cell. She reiterated the commitment of the College to organize more such events in the near future to apprise and prepare students to face the challenges of the emerging Job Market Scenario.
Earlier, the Principal of the College had a round of the venue of the Recruitment Drive and interacted and encouraged the students to participate actively and confidently.
Students of the college, under the leadership of the college president Neesha, and Radhika Sharma, Vice President, actively participated in the event. The NCC Cadets of the college, under the guidance of Prof. Kamal Deep Kour, also performed exemplary services in the overall management of the event.
Prof. Yash Paul, Prof. Binny Kumar, Dr. Mohan Galgotra, Dr. Usha Sharma, Prof. Roopa Kumari, Prof. Rajinder Singh, Prof. Yash Kumar, Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Prof. Pooja Bharti and Arun Gupta were also present.
