REASI, May 12: Theft case FIR no. 108/2022 US 379 IPC stands registered at Police Station Reasi after getting complaint of theft of Spare parts of JCB Excavation machine from Sandeep Singh Shamsher Singh R/O Vijaypur Reasi. Multiple teams of Police Station Reasi constituted to workout these theft cases. Police teams scanned CCTV footage from the areas, a number suspects were rounded up during investigations, after strenuous efforts Police teams zeroed upon one suspect Anksuh kumar S/O Ashok kumar R/O Nai Basti Reasi who during sustained interrogations Confessed about commission of crime further One jack Hammer , Jack Pin ,Socket ,Bucket LAB & Bucket Chain were recovered from his possession after his confession. Further investigations to unearth his linkages with other theft cases of district Reasi is going on.
Amit Gupta-JKPS Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi while sharing the information of recovery expressed that Reasi Police is committed to protect property of citizens & further appealed to the Public of Reasi, Katra and other towns that they must make use of technology & install CCTV cameras in the premises of their shops for surveillance on these criminal elements in the society. |
