| Churchill Brothers win in Football tourney | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 1: Churchill Brothers today entered the quarterfinals of Jammu Senior Open Football Championship beating New Bharat Club 4-1 at Mini Stadium, Parade, here.
Rohit Sandhu scored the first goal in the 30th minute, followed by second goal in the 48th minute by Moon Stephen. In the 56th minute, New Bharat reduced the margin when Rajesh Kumar netted the ball for a clean goal.
Not in a mood to give up, Churchill Brothers added yet another goal through Ronny in the 57th minute to consolidate their position. Rohit Sandhu, who scored his second goal in the 60th minute, helped his side make it a big 4-1 win.
In the second match, Vijay Club got walkover Kartar Club Samba.
