| 3 NC candidates file nomination papers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 1: Three National Conference candidates filed their nomination papers from Samba, Bishnah and Aknoor constituencies today. Som Nath Manyal, National Conference candidate form Samba assembly constituency accompanied by thousand of his supporters filed his nomination papers from Samba assembly constituency here today. S. Harbans Singh, Rattan Lal Gupta, Kr. Rachpal Singh and Aijaz Ahmed Jan accompanied the party candidate. Addressing the gathering after filing the nomination, S. Harbans Singh, said National Conference, if voted to power, will work towards accomplishing each any every work jotted down in the election manifesto of the party. He said National Conference under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah has a dream to transform the destiny of the people of the state and to accomplish that dream, we need your support. He said the constituency remained neglected during the coalition regime as the collation partners remained busy in looking after their own interest least caring about the welfare and wellbeing of the people of the constituency. He said National Conference is concerned about the swelling unemployment in the state and to overcome this serious issue, the party after coming to power will come out with a special package for the unemployed youth. Speaking on the occasion Kr. Rachpal Singh urged the people of the constituency to vote in favour of Somnath Manyal and assured them that if voted he will work the overall development of the constituency. Meanwhile, the party candidates Yashpal Bhagat and Ram Saroop also filed their nomination papers from Bishnah and Akhnoor assembly constituencies and addressed largely attended gatherings at their respective places. Bimla Luthra, sr. Provincial President Women Wing who was also present on the occasion while addressing the gathering at Bishnah said that National Conference after coming to power will being in an era of unprecedented development in the state and will ensure that the miseries of the common people which have increased many fold during the coalition regime are minimized. Vijay Lakshmi Dutta, urged the voters to vote in favour of National Conference and its candidate. |
