Teacher Trainees of Bhartiya College of Education organize Sports Meet

JAMMU, May 14: Teacher trainees of Bhartiya College of Education organize a 'Sports Meet' in Govt. Girls High School Garhi on 14 May,2022.The event emphasized on the importance of incorporating sports with academics for the 'holistic growth and development' of students. Their teachers on this sports meet in his key note address emphasized that how important sports is in a child's life. They stated that when the intellectuals in the field of education work together then the result is always extraordinary and outstanding.
The members present for the proper management of this sports meet were: Vivek Parihar, Sonika Deepakshi, Priya Bandhral, Neha Bharti, Neha Kumari, Daleep, Renu, Babli, Shruti, Nisha, Neha Bharti, Rekha, Yaspal, Sheetal, Nidhi, Nishali, Meghna, Prerna Chibber under the guidance of Rashmi (Teacher Incharge).
All the students from classes 1st - 10th of the school participated in this meet.The school playground was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. All the students especially the participants were really excited about the event.The event filled in the heart of everyone with the spirit of sportsmanship and unity. The students display a wide array of colourful and reverberant events. Badminton, Kho-Kho, Kabadi, Handkerchief, Skipping and other cultural items remained as the main attraction of this meet.The junior classes perform indoor and simple acts like dancing, singing, handprints, and more.
The pique of the event was the announcement of winners. There were two matches of the kabadi & Kho - Kho between 9th- 10th & 6th, 7th & 8th and the winners were class 9th and 8th for both kabbadi and kho- kho respectively.
The winners of badminton were, Pratigya (class 6th), Riya (Class 7th), Khushi (Class 8th), Sapna (Class- 9th), Arzoo (Class 10th).
