| Three arrested in Kathua for stabbing youth | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua, Dec 1: One person was stabbed in a group clash that occurred in Lakhanpur area during midnight and police nabbed three stabbers while manhunt has been launched to arrest rest of the absconders. One person identified as Kapoor Singh son of Gunjan Singh rersident of Gotachak, Jagatpur was stabbed with sharp edged weapons by five persons and after the incident the accused rushed from the spot leaving the victim in a pool of blood. After having information Lakhanpur police led by SHO Ajay Kumar Sharma under the supervision of SSP Kathua SP Pani reached on the spot and rushed to the victim to the district hospital and conducted raids in the area in which three stabbers were held. They have been identified as Abdul Gani,Tanveer Bhat and Som Prakash residents of the same area.During their investigation they told police that they were five in numbers and police has started a manhunt to arrest the absconders. A case under section 307,147,148 RPC has been registered against the accused. |
