| Mahant booked for land grab | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 1: In a rarest of the rare case police started investigation against Mahant and is accomplice, a property dealer, for allegedly grabbing 19 Kanals 8 Marlas and 17 Marlas prime land situated in the city center worth crores of rupees.
A complaint was lodged with high police officials alleging therein that the so called Mahant Probu Da Anand of Shivalya Panjbakhtar Jammu got his name recorded in the revenue records on this prime and thereafter gave power of attorney to one Ashok Jogi, a property dealer. The police registered a case and started thorough probe in the scam. JNF |
