SSP Ganderbal holds PCPG meeting at Gund

JAMMU, Dec1: In order to develop close rapport and better understanding between the Public & the Police, Nisar Ahmed IPS, SSP Ganderbal held a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Post Gund today on December 1, 2008. More than 50 respectable citizens invited from 17 different villages falling in the jurisdiction of Police Post attended the meeting. At the very outset of the meeting, the SSP introduced himself to the participants and also conveyed his gratitude for attending the meeting in such a large number. The SSP explained the concept and importance of holding such meetings which was highly appreciated by almost all the participants, rather they suggested that such meeting should be convened regularly enabling the local populace to bring their problems/grievances to the notice of Civil Administration through the medium of these meetings. A few participants posed some individual problems also in the meeting. They were assured that their problems would be brought to the notice of Dy. Commissioner, Ganderbal and other agencies concerned.
