Shiv Sena forms Ramban unit, hundreds join party fold
Launches 'Shiv Sena Aap Ke Dwar' campaign

RAMBAN, May 20: Impressed by the policies and programmes of Shiv Sena, hundreds of workers and leaders of several political parties today joined the party fold in presence of Manish Sahni, President J&K Shiv Sena who announced the formation of Ramban district unit and also launched the "Shiv Sena Aap Ke Dwar" campaign.
About 200 members of different parties joined Shiv Sena in a program organized at Maitra Communist Hall in Ramban today.
While announcing the formation of District Ramban Unit, Sahni appointed Tilak Raj as President while Pooja Devi was appointed as President Women's Wing and Ashok Kumar as Gen Secretary and Kishor Singh President youth wing
In his address, Sahni launched the "Shiv Sena Aap Ke Dwar" campaign to reach the party's 25-point goal. He asked Shiv Sainiks to go among the public and raise their voice on public issues. He said that as per the aspirations of the people, people should come out on the streets with the goal set.
Sahni asserted that Shiv Sena will raise its voice in high pitch for securing the rights of the people of J&K and the public should also remember the betrayal happening to them and give a befitting reply when the time comes.
In view of upcoming Annual Yatra of Baba Amarnath, Sahni laid stress for arrangement of Bhandara along with welcoming the devotees of Bhole Baba in Jammu and Kashmir. General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Vice President Natwar Lal and Udhampur Doda in-charge Ashwani Prabhakar welcomed the newly joined members with Shiv Bandhan and Nishan.
Sahni, while expressing condolences on the accident on the tunnel under construction near the bloody drain of Ramban, demanded opening of trauma centers with proper facilities at the district level along with proper treatment of the injured. Along with this Angrej Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Raksha Devi were appointed vice-president while Madan Singh, Kanta Devi, Sardari Lal were given the post of district secretary.
