Gdc Kathua Learner Support Centres (Ignou & Dde) Organise Interactive Session With Students

Kathua, May 22: An interaction session of Learners / students of IGNOU Learners Support Centre 1206 and DDE, University of Jammu Learners Support Centre with Principal of the College Prof. Sumanesh Jasrotia was organised on 22nd of May 2022. The programme was formally opened with the welcome address of Prof. Rakesh Singh, Coordinator, IGNOU, LSC-1206 & Head, Department of Chemistry, GDC Kathua. In his opening remarks Prof. Singh welcome the students to the programme and formally introduced them to the new Principal of the College Prof. Sumanesh Jasrotia. He also briefed the students about the working of the Learner Support Centres running in the college and their importance in acquiring education through distance mode. In his address, the Chief-Guest of the session and principal of College Prof. Sumanesh Jasrotia congratulated and applauded the students studying in the LSCs through distance mode while performing their other duties as professionals. He lauded the efforts of Prof. Rakesh Singh, Coordinator, IGNOU LSC-1206, GDC Kathua for rejuvenating the IGNOU, LSC of the college with his pragmatic vision and hard work. Later during the session Prof. Sumanesh interacted with the students and replied to their queries along with Prof. Rakesh Singh, Coordinator and Dr. Suraya Partap Singh, Assistant Coordinator of IGNOU, LSC-1206. The programme was also attended by Sh. Parveen Kumar (Assistant, IGNOU LSC), Sh. Manmohan Krishan (Assistant, DDE, JU LSC), Sh. Yoginder Lal (Assistant, IGNOU LSC) and other supporting staff of the Learner Support Centres of IGNOU and DDE Sh. Sonu Kumar, Sh. Naresh Kumar, Sh. Kewal Kumar, Sh. Devinder Kumar, Sh. Satish Kumar, Sh. Ravi Kumar, Sh. Balwan Singh and others.
