Weekly Block Diwas program held at BDO office Bhaderwah
BDC Chairperson, ADC listen to issues of PRIs, general public

BHADERWAH, May 25: Weekly Block Diwas meeting was today held in Bhaderwah block of District Doda to redress the grievances of people.
The locals projected their demands and issues of public importance before the officers of different departments. PRI members raised issues of public importance and demanded their early redressal
The event was chaired by BDC Chairperson Omi Chand in presence of ADC, Ch. Dil Mir who listened to the participants.
The government officers provided various services and resolved many issues on the spot pertaining to their respective departments.
The ADC directed concerned departments to respond to the issues of public importance and settle them once for all.
The District Officers of different departments gave detailed descriptions of Government schemes to make the public aware about their benefits.
During the program, the people were also informed about the restructuring of the State Marriage Assistance Scheme to extend its benefits to all Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) or Priority Household (PHH) ration card holders.
The program was attended by Chief Horticulture Officer Doda Rakesh K Kotwal;Area Marketing Officer Doda Sunil Kumar; District Employment Officer Adrees Lone; Assistant Director Fisheries Doda Joginder Lal; Tehsildar Bhadarwah, BDO Bhadarwah, TSWO Bhadarwa, TSO Bhaderwah, HDO Bhadarwah and representatives of various other departments viz Floriculture, Animal husbandry, Agriculture, Revenue and others were present.
