| Romesh Gupta files nomination from Bishnah | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 2: Prominent Social Worker and candidate from Bishnah Romesh Gupta today filed his nominations papers from Bishnah assembly constituency today.
Accompanied by thousands of supporters Romesh Gupta filed his papers.
Addressing a massive gathering of about 15000 people, Gupta said that he has been serving the people of area for last more than 30 years and their insistence have forced him to contest as independent candidate. He said that his priority would be to address the problems of border farmers and making Bishnah and Arnia as model towns.
Romesh said that traditional politicians have made only hollow promises during past 60 years while they have done nothing on ground. He said that this is high time that people elect right candidates who can represent them in the state assembly and fulfill their just aspirations. |
