5/28/2022 10:47:43 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 28: Regretting that the BJP controlled administration in Jammu and Kashmir has failed to solve day to day problems of the people, Mahila Congress on Saturday asked the government to create job opportunities to unemployed youth of the Union Territory.
Addressing a meeting of Mahila Congress workers, at jammu former MLA and president of Pradesh Mahila Congress, Ms Indu Pawar pointed out that except promises nothing has been done to provide jobs to the local unemployed youth.
The Mahila Congress president pointed out on the one hand J&K Government is claiming to receive thousands and thousands crores of investment in the UT but on the other hand numbers of unemployed youth are increasing with every passing day.
Pointing towards unprecedented hike in the prices of essential commodities, she said there is no control on the prices of vegetables and atta but the BJP Governments is unmoved by the plight of the people.
She reminded that before 2014 general elections, BJP used to hold protest against price rise but now the same BJP has maintained a criminal silence on compounding woes of the common masses. She said instead of addressing genuine issues of the masses, BJP leaders were unnecessarily stroking controversies by highly provocative statements only to divert the attention of the masses towards the total failure of the Modi government.
Pointing towards problems being faced by the residents of Jammu, she said that people are confronting with worst ever water and power crisis after total failure of the infrastructure.
