| Congress to recapture power: Capt Davar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT RAMNAGAR, Dec 2: Capt. Praveen Davar secretary AICC and observer for Jammu and Kashmir State has expressed confidence that congress will stage a come back in the state in view of the mood of the people. Davar who was addressing a meeting sat Dalsar and Ramnagar in Udhampur district, yesterday said that state has witnessed a massive development in every spheres of life during Congress led regime under the Chiefministership of Ghulam Nabi Azad. It had become possible only due to the liberal funds provided by UPA government headed by Dr. Manmohan Singh who took strong measures for the welfare of people of the state especially the poor sections, farmers and other weaker sections of the society, he said and added that he is sure that the people of the state will not loose the opportunity of their rapid development and repose their faith over Congress party and its leadership. He criticized BJP and other regional parties like NC, Panthers and PDP for dividing people on the basis of region and religion. He said these parties have no policy and programmes for the welfare of people of the state. He appealed to the voters to cast their valuable vote in favour Congress party in order to ensure peace, progress and prosperity in the state. S. Gurmukh Singh, former minister vice president PCC also address the meeting. |
