JAMMU, May 30: Apni Party Provincial Secretary / District President Jammu Urban, Dr Rohit Gupta has said that Apni Party is the only option for the people of Jammu who were misled by BJP with their hollow slogan.
It was due to the policies and agenda of the Party towards public welfare that dozens of the people including a businessman Kuldeep Raj joined Apni Party at Ward Number 41 Hazoori Bagh in Jammu district.
The joining programme was organized in presence of Provincial Secretary and District President Jammu Urban, Dr Rohit Gupta, District President Jammu Rural-A, Pushap Dev Uppal, Provincial President OBC Sohan Singh, District General Secretary, Sardesh Rana, Vijay Gurtoo, Om Parkash Dansalia and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Gupta said that the people feel cheated with the political parties who did nothing for the development of their localities and Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) also failed on all the fronts.
He also highlighted the issues of unscheduled electricity cuts and irregular supply of drinking water which has made the people suffer during the summers.
He said that the development activities are done on a pick and choose basis which is unfortunate. Similarly, District President Jammu Rural-A, Pushap Dev Uppal said that the situation is worst with regard to development in rural areas.
He said that the people from different segments of society are joining Apni Party with a hope to get development, better education, improved health care system at the village level and social justice for everyone.
Prominent among those who joined Apni Party include Rakesh Kumar, Som Nath, Kuldeep Raj, Binnu, Roshan, Banty, Anku, Mukesh, Jyoti, Babli, Sham Lal, Sunil, Romi, Nitin and others.
