NSUI seek support for Congress

Jammu, Dec 2: National Students Union of India (NSUI) today sought people’s support and mandate in favour of Congress in the going assembly elections.
Addressing media persons here today, Abdul Rashid Choudhary, state president, NSUI appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to vote for Congress candidates on the basis of their recorded development done Congress led coalition government under the able leadership of former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad during last two and half years.
Highlighting the achievement of Congress led coalition government, he pointed out that creation of 8 new districts, 3 sub districts, 12 tehsils, inauguration of Dulhasti Power Project, Baglihar hydro election project, opening of Srinagar Muzzaffrabad road, Poonch-Rawalakote road for trade etc were bold landmark works done by Azad government in J&K. He further said that Congress led coalition Government brought revolution, especially in education sector in J&K State, by setting up 45 Colleges, 8 new university campus, three new universities.
