| Report sought from Justice Sharma panel | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 2: The Government has asked Justice OP Sharma ‘one man’ Commission of inquiry looking into alleged disrespect to body of Kuldeep Verma who died during Amarnath land agitation, to complete and submit its report by December 20.
In exercise of powers conferred by section 3 of the Jammu and Kashmir Commission of Inquiry Act, 1962, and in partial modification of Notification 346 dated 27th October, 2008, the Government has directed that the Commission of Inquiry constituted vide notification SRO 218 dated 28th July, 2008 shall submit its report by or before 20th December, 2008. A notification to this effect was issued by the Law Department here yesterday. |
