BJP leaders from Katra join Shiv Sena, party in expansion mode

JAMMU, June 1: Impressed by the policies and programmes of Shiv Sena Party, BJP leaders today joined the Party fold in a program organized at the Party's State Office here today. Today joining programme was organized under the leadership of Manish Sahni, President Shiv Sena J&K.
Briefing media persons here today, Sahni said that the Party has announced the expansion of Katra Tehsil unit along with the state unit with an aim to boost the activism of the party leaders in view of the upcoming Assembly elections.
During the programme, Sahni has appointed Mohan Lal Lakhotra and Vinay Abrol, who were in BJP, as the Chairman and respectively of Tehsil Katra. Sahni welcomed the leaders by presenting Shiv Bandhan and Nishan. While announcing the expansion of the state unit, Sahni appointed senior leaders Jatindra Arora and Dalip Arora as vice president where as Gopal Dogra, Madan Mangotra as secretary, Vinod Dogra, Joginder Sharma, Satish Walia as joint-secretary and Deepak Kumar and Ankit Arora appointed as secretary youth unit.
Sahni said that these senior leaders have been given place in the state unit for the purpose of raising their voice on the aspirations of the people and taking the party's aim to the people. These leaders have been entrusted with the responsibility of expanding the party in Kud, Patnitop, Batote, Udhampur, Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar districts.
Sahni asserted that Shiv Sena will raise its voice in high pitch for securing the rights of the people of J&K . On this occasion Gen. Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Prabhari Ashwani Prabhakar were also present.
