| Centre combatting terror with mailed fist: Nadda | | | AGENCIES
BHOPAL, June 1: Throwing down the gauntlet to the scourge of terrorism, BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda minced no words on Wednesday when he said that the Centre is definitely not maintaining silence over the grisly truth that militants are targeting civilians in Kashmir.
"In fact, ceaseless action is underway against the grim shadow of insurgency. New Delhi has an unambiguous zero-tolerance policy vis-à-vis such cases. Those desiring anarchy are experiencing frustration over the fact that local bodies' elections were finally conducted peacefully in Kashmir recently," the visiting leader averred during an interaction with media representatives in the Madhya Pradesh capital.
Heaping sarcasm on erstwhile Congress president Rahul Gandhi in the context of his much-talked-about public appearance in London, Mr Nadda quipped that nobody lends a patient ear to Mr Gandhi in India and that is precisely why he talks big abroad.
"Regarding the Gyanvapi Mosque issue, let me make it abundantly clear that the BJP reposes unalloyed faith in the Constitution and the judiciary," he added. |
