BJYM's Bharat Darshan Sushasan Yatra to reach Jammu today for 4-day study tour

JAMMU, June 2: A team of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), which is on a pan-India Bharat Darshan Sushasan Yatra is arriving Jammu on Friday for a four-day study tour of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Flanked by the Yuva Morcha's State President Arun Prabhat, BJYM National Media Incharge S.Amandeep Singh ,State Secretary BJP and Tour guardian Ajay Pargal ,State Media Incharge BJYM Chetan Wanchoo while addressing a press conference at party headquarters here said a team of BJYM functionaries from all over the country will visit Akhnoor Fort and Jia Pota Ghat and World Heritage Buddhist site Ambaran after their arrival in Jammu tomorrow.
Arun Prabhat said the Bharat Darshan Sushasan Yatra has been initiated by BJYM to introduce its members to the country's cultural diversity, traditions and historical richness by experiential tours to different places. The Yatra was launched by Union Home Minister Amit Shah from Bengaluru on April 1.
They are reaching Jammu after visiting Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Banglore. On the first day, they will visit Akhnoor Fort and Jia Pota Ghat to have knowledge and study of cultural heritage of Jammu," Arun Prabhat said, adding "they will also have a heritage walk to Hari Palace Museum and Raghunath Ji temple".
Similarly, on June 4, the team will hold a detailed interaction with West Pakistan Refugees (WPRs) and border people at R S Pura. "The WPRs, who remained worst sufferers of the discriminatory Article 370 and Article 35-A, and deprived of their legitimate rights for decades, have now been delivered justice by the Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government at the Centre," the BJYM leader said.
After this interaction, the visiting team of BJYM will witness Beating Retreat Ceremony at Suchetgarh on the International Border between India and Pakistan to study the changing scenario in terms of development and tourism in Jammu and Kashmir.
"They will also have an interaction with Gorkha and Valmiki Samaj who were the victims of Article 370 and Article 35-A. Gorkha and Valmiki Samaj were never granted their due share under the discriminatory provisions of laws before the abrogation of Article 370. The members of these communities will brief the visiting team as how their lives have changed lives post-abrogation of Article 370," Singh said, adding "the team is also planned to have an detailed interaction with the Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation over the implementation of major projects being executed under Jammu Smart City Projects".
On the third day of their visit, the BJYM team will conduct a tour of Reasi district and have sightseeing IIT, IIM and Jambu Zoo. "They will also visit the site of highest railway bridge at Kauri in Reasi district and Salal Hydro electric power project. They are also planned to visit Bhimgarh Fort before leaving for Sanasar hill station where they will be the part of a cultural programme", he said.
On the final day of their tour, the team will get a brief on Jammu and Kashmir tourism which has received a major boost post abrogation Article 370 due to improved law and order situation, especially in Kashmir Valley.
"The prime objective of the visit is to highlight the unprecedented development activities initiated by the BJP government under the dynamic and visionary leadership of the Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra during the last eight years. Under the theme, "8 Saal Bemesaal", the Yatra is aimed at throwing a light on three points, Sewa, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan, which are the main focus of governance ensured by the BJP-led government at the Centre," Singh said.
