Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 2: Gaurav Sharma, In-charge Prabhari, Jammu Province; Pardeep Mittal, Co-Incharge Elections J&K and senior leader and DDC Member Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony, while condemning the killing of a Hindu Bank Employee, Vijay Kumar in the strongest terms, has accused the government of failure to protect minorities in Valley demanding the shifting of all minority community Govt employees to Jammu region at the earliest.
In a statement issued to media here today, the Aam Aadmi Party leaders while expressing serious concern over the ongoing spree of target killings in Kashmir Valley have pooh-poohed the Union Govt led by PM Narendra Modi and the Union Territory Administration led by Lt Governor Manoj Sinha for making false and tall claims of BJP's success in bringing peace in Kashmir Valley and reining in the terrorists.
They said that BJP has never been serious about the issues of minorities especially their safety and security in the Valley. He accused the Govt of being wholly and solely responsible for the killings of members of the minority community in the Valley as it has miserably failed in providing the requisite security to the vulnerable section despite it being its foremost duty.
The AAP leaders Gaurav Sharma and Taranjit Singh Tony said that the BJP leaders representing the party that is ruling J&K Union Territory through proxy have been quite shamelessly clamouring about the Govt's so called magnanimous and unprecedented achievements on a daily basis despite the fact that precious lives are being lost to terrorists' bullets on a daily basis in the Valley. They asserted that in view of Govt's utter failure in protecting the innocent lives of minorities in the Valley the Lt Governor led UT Administration must immediately shift all the minority community Govt employees posted in valley to Jammu region before it is too late.
