JAMMU, June 2: Jammu Province People's Forum(JPPF) strongly condemn the targeted killings in Kashmir, MS Katoch the working President of the forum expressed his serious concern over the targeted killings of innocents in Kashmir valley continuously after abrogation of article 370. The Govt. is unable to stop it even seems that there is no mechanism in place to curb the same, how long this will continue? How long the innocent people have to sacrifice their lives for none of their faults, after every person's killing only statements appear in the electronic as well as print media but nothing concrete is visible on ground, we request government of Jammu and Kashmir as well as the Home Ministry of union government to create an environment where people from across the length and breadth of the country feel safe and secure in Kashmir, otherwise minorities working in valley are under threat to migrate, it was also reiterated that if fundamentalist forces are not crushed they will make Kashmir hell on the earth, other who participated in this discussion were Pavitar Singh Retd Judge President JPPF, Inderjeet Khajuria, Avinash Bhatia, ML Sharma, Resham Singh, Surinder Veer, Daljeet Singh, Puran Sharma, Balwan Singh and Prof OP Sharma. |
