Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 2: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Thursday stressed for initiating combing operation in Kashmir Valley to free valley from the scourge of terrorism.
In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart leader said that for the last two years there was complete peace in the Valley but lately the attempts have been made to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of Kashmir Valley. He said that Kashmiri leadership is also playing a negative role claiming that it is a matter of grave concern.
Kavinder said instead of supporting government, the Kashmiri leaders are instigating the people over the situation in Valley. He said that mentors of terrorism are misleading the youths having clean record to indulge in terror activities thus creating difficulty in nailing them down.
The former Deputy Chief Minister slammed valley based leaders like Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti for not daring to speak a word despite the fact that numbers of innocent people are being killed but when it came to Yasin's jail term, everyone in the coterie started shedding crocodile tears. Why so much love for a terrorist? The response on Yasin's conviction has exposed these India bashers fully as they are the one who have ruined Kashmir for their vested interests, he added.
The senior BJP leader said that intelligence agencies should intensify their network to know beforehand the plan of terror mongers so that spate in civilian killings could be curbed. He said that Modi Government will not spare the terrorists involved in ghastly acts of terrorism as security forces are already on job to caught hold of all the terrorists involved in the recent killings of the civilians as those involved in earlier attacks have already been neutralized.
It is pertinent to mention that three soft targets have been killed by terrorists in three days including a lady teacher from Samba District and a bank manager from Rajasthan.
